A strong mineral scent. The taste is an equal match of mineral and fruit, with a strong initial minerality at first, followed by a linger of apricots and avocados. A medium-dry wine. A long, fairly dry finish.
A sommelier recommended this with the difficult combination of gnocchi and beef, and it worked remarkably well with both.
